MentionScope ("we") provides AI-visibility monitoring and reporting for marketing agencies. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Account data (your email, agency name, branding preferences); client profiles you add (business names, websites, locations, categories, competitor names — information about businesses, not consumers); scan results (AI engine responses to buyer-intent questions); leads you generate through the free checker (the email a visitor submits); and standard technical logs.

What we do with it

Operate the service: run scans, compute scores, and render reports. Send transactional email (sign-in links, report links) and, where you opted in, product updates. We do not sell personal data. Checker emails receive a short educational sequence with a working unsubscribe link in every message.

Processors

We use payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), hosting (Vercel), and the official APIs of AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) to run scans. Prompts sent to those APIs contain business names and categories — never your account credentials or your visitors' emails.

Retention & deletion

Scan history is retained while your account is active so trends work. Email hello@mentionscope.ai to delete your account and associated data; we complete deletion within 30 days.
